“I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs. “My daughter and I had a great 3 night stay at The Hotel on Pownal. This is an older hotel that has been updated and modernized. Walking distance to downtown core and restaurants, excellent on-site parking (with electric charging noted), comfortable beds and bedding, and a great breakfast that included a wide selection of gluten free options for my celiac daughter, including a designated space and gluten-free-only toaster. Dairy free options were noted as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming....
