“Room was perfect, well sized and well situated. Pub was amazing with great atmosphere and great food. Breakfast (food and the service) was not at all up to scratch to the rest of the B&B. The area is beautiful with wonderful walks and very central. I would strongly recommend this accommodation and pub. ”

“This is my second time to this cute little place. It is very nice with high ambition, but there where a couple of things that can improve a lot. I booked 5 rooms (one booking with 4 named persons, and an additional booking with only my name) for one night for a party of 5. It was clear payments to be settled on site. Before I even left Sweden I got notifications from my bank that the hotel had charged 3 rooms from my account. I called the hotel and they were quite negligant about breaching...

“It had a nice pub. The staff was more into the work in the puband in the hotelguests. The room was nice, the only problem we had was when showered water ran down in the restaurant. Tasty breakfast.”

“Ett gammalt pub-hotell byggt 1396. Rummet var bra, med fräscht helkaklat badrum. Dock var man tvungen att sätta på kallvattnet för badkaret för att få varmvatten i duschen! Iofs inget problem när man väl kommit på det... Riktigt fin Shepherd Neame pub mitt i centrum med uteterass på baksidan. Bra restaurang och engelsk frukost. Lugnt läge mot gågata på framsidan och sidogata med betalparkering under dan på baksidan. Mycket trappor i hotellet, tom en liten trappa med två steg till badrummet. Vi...

“Väldigt mysigt hotell med närheten till puben. Väldigt sköna sängar och bra utbud på toalettartiklar. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal bra frukost och trevlig värdinna ”

“Perfect for the eurotunnel, we checked in to The Roebuck on a Saturday night. The staff were excellent in their servicemindedness. We had to make an early start the next morning, so they made us some sandwiches. We had a meal in the pub in the evening, and the food was excellent as well. The only complaint I can have is that the extra sofabed in the room could hold only one person. Having booked a familyroom for four, that is one short. My daughter had to sleep on the floor.”

“The property was very clean and tidy. The Continental Breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and fresh. We only met the owner, Rosie and one other member of staff called Linda. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again...
