Lovely stay

Really nice stay in excellent house. Ideal location, 10 minute walk from centre of Bourton-on-the-water. Lovely big kitchen/dining area and excellent living room. House is well spaced allowing large groups but also privacy with some en-suites and a 2nd floor. Good utility room and garden was nice even if it was a bit chilly to use it in March. Would definitely stay again.

Anniversary celebration

We booked the cottage to celebrate our Golden Wedding with the family. The house was perfect for our needs, my only complaint was that a gardener appeared in the garden without ringing the doorbell or letting us know he was coming in which could easily have resulted in my dog getting through the gate to the busy road. The cottage is also in need of redecoration

Cottage exceeded our expectations.Clean and well presented.Very large kitchen and dining area was ideal for large group to eat and socialise.Lounge with wood burning stove great for evenings. 5 cars parked ok on drive. Easy and pleasant walk into village centre and footpaths to nearby villages close by for pub lunches etc. Overall great stay

Location And Facilities Fantastic.

10 of us all enjoyed a wonderful week here. Superb for a large group with plenty of space for all ages. We particularly enjoyed table tennis in the games room.

Thanksgiving family get together

The property was great for our requirements with large lounge and large table in kitchen/diner so that all 10 adults could get round for our family meals prepared and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. We had a great time and hopefully will be able to go back next year.

Perfect property for large group

There were 9 adults and the property was just ideal for our needs. A separate snug was lovely for those that wanted to get away from the TV and relax reading a book. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was superbly stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Large house suitable for big mixed aged family groups. Located in a good location on the outskirts of the village with good access along rural footpaths to the village. Number of issues that were not resolved quickly and should have been identified before we started our holiday.

There were 8 adults and two children in our party and the house was excellent and satisfied all of our needs. The location was spot on a short walk into the village and short drives to adjacent Cotswolds locations We had to contact Sammi the housekeeper a couple of times and she was extremely helpful I fully recommend the company and house and would definitely return

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location

Millstone Cottage is a lovely property just a short walk from the busy centre of Bourton on the Water. It was spotless on arrival and provided very ideal accommodation for our group. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as was the lounge. The kitchen was very well equipped, providing everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend this property.

Another great long weekend

We have stayed here before and booked again as has 6 bedrooms and so convenient to walk to Bourton on the Water. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable for myself and my 5 friends. Off road parking for our 4 cars which is great too. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location

We loved the house for our family holiday . Well equipped & comfortable . Its location is perfect for a morning walk around the village with the dogs then popping in at the bakery on the water for pastries & coffee. The facilities at the house were excellent . My husband made bread twice & we enjoyed relaxing with our family in the large lounge with the log burner . Perfect for my birthday celebrations .

Excellent accomodation for a special family wend

A most enjoyable wend stay at Milestone Cottage for my Dad's 80th birthday. The house in terms of location, accomodation and facilities were superb. Plenty of parking space for our cars. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. Enjoyed the open fire in the evening. Would recommend.

Birthday weekend in Bourton on the Water

This was a great place to stay with 9 of us in 3 generations. 3 en suite double bedrooms and a main bathroom adjacent to the other bedrooms Plenty of dining and lounge space. Kitchen could do with an extra fridge. We were going to have a barbecue but they were both very dirty and in need of a clean. We went to the pub instead, the nearest pub was a short walk and had great beers and wine at reasonable prices and good service. It was called the Mouse trap, much cheaper than the Willow in the centre of Bourton. A large garden with Boule court and table tennis in the garage. We tried to phone the contact number but we had NO ANSWER. Good job it wasn't an emergency! We enjoyed our stay and would go again. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their property

Happy family weekend

Excellent base for our family of 11 + dog (delighted owners happy for us to take dog) Millstone Cottage is ideally situated for a Cotswold stay. Six well appointed bedrooms, lovely large kitchen-diner. And a lovely snug/games room for adults or kids, depending on who takes ownership first We’d definitely return.

Fabulous cottage in a fabulous location!

Really enjoyable stay in a fabulous cottage which was spacious (there was 11 of us), immaculate and warm. Very well equipped kitchen, kids loved the snug and games cupboard, as well as the table tennis in the garage! Bourton on the Water has a lot to offer, pubs, cafes, shops and tourist attractions. We had a great time, loved the house, and hope to return!!

What a gem

We were delighted with Millstone Cottage. Its comfort, facilities and equipment were excellent. Everything had been thought off to make a great stay, and the owners were very helpful. The location was also ideal, very close to the centre of the village, and with a pub on the way! Added to this, the value for money for a large six bedroom property was a beyond expectations. We would definitely return to this excellent house in possibly the most beautiful village in the UK.
