âThis was the best place I've ever stayed in Detroit. It was so close to everything, so clean, and so spacious. I would recommend it a thousand times. â
âReally nice hotel! Enjoyed our stay! Rooms were very clean and nice! Overall a nice stay and we would love to stay there again!
I think the customer service could have been better, they were ok! Didnt feel too welcome from the staff in the front desk!

âThe staff is amazing and my room (my 2 bedroom apartment!) was clean and modern with a washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Great place! Will definitely stay again.â

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and updates.
Staff felt indifferent but did their job effectively.
The proximity to the convention center make this hotel optimal. Breakfast places are legio. â
âIâm a traveler and this was by far the BEST VACATION EVER. The hotel is top tier. The employees are top tier. Brianna at the front desk is my bestie and she donât even know it. You donât need Uber or Lyft everything is walkable. You can catch the Dax bus for $6.00 to and from the airport and guess where it lets u off at?? Dead in front of this hotel. The only stop so you will not be lost. I canât wait to return. Thank you Hotel Indigo yall are the Best. â

"Love the Shinola design and was very excited to stay here - but will not return. Dont get me wrong, the design of the room was great and the check in was friendly and a glass of bubbly was received. The films telling about brand, materials, design etc was great to watch. Comfortable bed. But the cleaning between the days was so poor and had dust in the corners and mold in the "zink hole". Don't even think the pillows were fluffed between the days. The beautiful Shinola alarm clock showed wrong time (1 hour) and be prepared to wait very long if you having breakfast in house. It did not live up to expectations and there are plenty of other hotels out there I rather try next time. But location is great, value for money less."
