  • Elms Way is a beautifully renovated property within a stones throw of West Wittering. The house itself is filled with thoughtful touches making it feel comfortable and stylish.

    Entering the home there is a long hallway with a office space, to the end of the hallway you enter the sitting, dining and kitchen area. The sitting room is filled with large comfortable sofas so guests can relax in the evening and watch their favourite programmes on the large smart TV with Sky, or just Bluetooth to the Bose soundbar and enjoy your favourite tunes while playing one of the many board games provided with the log burner roaring. The dining area and kitchen over look the rear garden with breakfast bar and dining table for you to enjoy what you have whipped up in the kitchen or for a real treat try one of the takeaways in the village.

    The kitchen itself is well equipped to comfortably self cater for your stay with Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster. Through to the utility there is a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. For those travelling as a family the hosts have provided a travel cot and a booster seat.

    Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor - the master suite has a super king bed and an en suite shower room. There is a further king size room and a double. Off the main ground floor hallway there is also a WC and a separate shower room.

    On the first floor you will find a king size room with an en suite bathroom with shower over the bath.

    The private rear garden has been thoughtfully finished with an outside seating area and loungers. The host has also provided for guests use, a gas barbecue, a wood smoker and a Paella burner so you can enjoy indulging your culinary skills! At the front of Elms Way there is plenty of parking on the drive and host offers free use of an EV charger.

    The hosts at Elms Way have gone to enormous trouble to make the property comfortable and well equipped for guests to have a memorable stay.

It was a beautifully styled house, perfectly suited to our group stay (3 couples) and we loved our stay there. It was walkable to the fab beach and a decent pub. The garden was great and luckily so was the weather.In the main the decor was beautiful, but there were a few places where things seemed unfinished. One area was in the upstairs bedroom into bathroom.I do also have to comment on the crockery and cutlery, when we took it from the drawers it was not very clean, and we had to wash it before use. These however are lesser issues as overall it was a lovely stay.

A great place to stay!

The property is a spacious, modern house with very comfortable beds and a large sitting room area. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a breakfast bar as well as the dining table. There are two spacious ensuite bathrooms plus a separate shower room and a separate washroom, all with nice fluffy towels. Our party included two small guests (aged 4 and 2) who were thrilled by the selection of toys and books available (and there are books and toys for older kids too) and there is a small enclosed rear garden which was great for them to play out in. There was enough room at the front of the house to park our two cars easily and the road is in a quiet residential area. The local shopping centre is East Wittering which requires a car journey of a few minutes and sometimes a wait to get a parking slot. The beach at West Wittering would be walkable for adults or older children but we needed to drive there with small people and the car park is quite expensive. It was extremely windy during the week we were there but still very enjoyable. Drives to attractions further afield tended to take us via Chichester which is very busy indeed, or the Chichester bypass which is worth avoiding at peak times. In summary, we can highly recommend the house as a lovely place to stay and we are very grateful to the owners for making it so welcoming.
