“Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful rooms, a true 5-star cave experience. The hotel is situated in the heart of Sassi di Matera, with walking distance to everything you need. You will find tourists walking around the outdoor parts of the hotel just to experience it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds comfortable and good AC. “Nice spacious clean rooms. Bathroom had an excellent shower. Spectacular views from the patio/dining area. Friendly staff. The only negative was that our room was on the second floor and the elevator did not go there, so that if someone has difficulty walking, that room would not be suitable. A family member had a room on the 1st floor so there was no problem.”

“Staying in a cave was so awesome. Julia and the staff were amazing. The wine happy hour was fun and breakfast was very good. It was worth staying here. We did not get to use the pool area but it was calm, serene and beautiful. The entire facility had a calmness to it thst just relaxed you and made you feel welcome. ”
