“I've stayed at Intercontinental several times in the past including my honeymoon and have had a great experience. However, my experience at the Houston location wasn't as smooth. To start, the bell man was great, he was personable and was ready to help us. We had 4 big luggages and he was ready and willing to help with a smile. When trying to check in, the attendant wasnt as personable. Didnt even smile to welcome us. We got in early, so I asked if they had a room availbe to check in early....

“Nice place to stay, clean and friendy staff. Offer a 2 mile complimantary shuttle service, which is nice but travel too short to make a difference. No stores close by except for the very expensive hotel shop. Overall I think this hotel might be a bit overpriced.”

“Decent stay! Fulfilled the purpose we were looking for - bed under a roof. They had tv, smoking rooms, breakfast (although minimal) but other than that; a reasonably priced hotel in, basically, an empty neighbourhood. Clean, friendly staff and good weather. ”

“I was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service. I checked into this room, looked around, pulled the sheets back, then immediately checked out. The room was filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. There was what looked like body fluid on the mattress protector and what appeared to be a pubic hair on the wall in the bathroom. I’m waiting to see if I’m going to get at least one night of my prepaid stay refunded. ”
