Fjällstugor i Chimney Rock

“The staff were very kind and helpful. We stayed here because of the high rating, but have to be honest that this is NOT a 9.6 out of 10 hotel. It is older, the furniture is quite dated and the tv is the smallest that I’ve seen in a long time!! It was clean, but really needs updating in order to qualify for the rating it has. Our AC did not work consistently. If you want a nice person at the desk and clean rooms for the price, then by all means, stay here.”

“The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Granddaughter enjoyed the heated pool. Breakfast was good but was not kept replenished. A little problem at check , language barrier, I spoke English and she didn't. All on all it was good would stay there again.”

“Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed!”

“Nice property! As a solo traveler I would stay here again.”

“Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff.”

“Clean, modern, spacious rooms. Like the gym and the breakfast that is better than comparable hotels (but still ”fat” and boring, by European standards…). I’d say this is the best choice in the ”roadside chain hotels”-category because of it’s cleanliness and modern feeling.”

“Our 4 night stay was comfortable and pet friendly. The place had everything you need with a country setting. We will return again.”

“It was a perfect place to stay. Communication was awesome. Room was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!”
