“We checked in and tried showering only to have water as cold as ice, door lock didn’t work. Called front desk his response was change rooms. We were already unpacked and he didn't seem to care, he said no one was there to fix anything. Moved rooms to take a shower in room number 2 and the bathroom bath mat was dirty, we used a towel cus the bath mat was that dirty, the shower wall had black curly hair stuck to it. Called front desk three times, no answer. Went to front desk no one there. ...

“The English Inn has an old English feel. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was buffet was super each day I was there (4 days). From 4-6pm each day there is tea and fresh baked cookies. I took a day trip to Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home) and enjoyed it immensely. The Inn is located near many shops, grocery stores, and the University of Virginia where my granddaughter was attending a swim camp. I would definitely stay there again.”
