The Retreat Àr en modern stuga i terrasserad mews-stil som ligger inbÀddat i en avskild cul de sac i Christchurch, Dorset. Denna fastighet Àr ny pÄ marknaden för semesteruthyrning. Boendet bestÄr av ett öppet vardagsrum med vÀlvda tak och takfönster som skapar en ljus och luftig miljö. TvÄ sovrum rymmer fyra personer och det finns ett lyxigt badrum i tre delar med dusch. Det finns en liten trÀdgÄrd och uteplats utanför. Fastigheten har en reserverad parkeringsplats pÄ tomten.
Stugan ligger en kort promenad frÄn Stanpit Marsh Naturreservat och Christchurchs historiska centrum ligger 10 minuter till fots. Mudeford Quay och Avon Beach, bÄda populÀra familjstrÀnder, ligger 5 minuters bilresa bort. New Forest, Poole och Bournemouth ligger alla en kort bilresa bort. Bussar till Bournemouth och Poole stannar i slutet av vÀgen. Det finns fantastiska 12 mil sandstrÀnder och stenstrÀnder i anslutning till Christchurch. De flesta av dem har den prestigefyllda blÄ flaggan för renlighet.
Mudeford Quay sitter vid ingÄngen till Christchurch Harbour och Àr hemmet för stÀdernas blomstrande fiskesamhÀlle som tillhandahÄller mycket av produkterna till Quays fiskstall. Den pittoreska kajen har en handfull fiskarstugor och det finns en fantastisk utsikt lÀngs kusten och över till Isle of Wight. Crabbing Àr ett populÀrt tidsfordriv och det Àr hÀrifrÄn som passagerarfÀrjan gÄr över till Hengistbury Head. Quays autentiska fiskerikort och dess traditionella pub pÄ Haven ger Mudeford Quays överklagande.
Stugan Àr idealiskt belÀgen för dig som tycker om friluftslivet. Det finns strÀnder och naturreservat i nÀrheten och Nya skogen ligger bara en kort bilresa. Oavsett om du letar efter en aktiv paus eller en familjesemester finns det mÄnga aktiviteter i det lokala omrÄdet som du kan njuta av.

Lovely little bungalow

What a little gem. The property is situated behind the shop and pub, but you wouldn't know it, it's so quiet! It has everything you need and feels very spacious with the vaulted ceilings. We loved it. The location is ideal as you don't really need your car to get about. We walked to the beach, into town, the local nature reserve and along the river. The next door neighbour was very nice and really helpful. We can recommend the Ship in Distress pub and the Thai restaurant next door, it does a great takeaway

Nice property with friendly neighbours and handy corner shop. Convenient location for walking into town or going further afield by car. Only gripe - sofas very soft and difficult for older people to get out of! Comment - security light above front door not working.

We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed some family time together. The location is great and the Rising Sun Thai restaurant was really good. Very nice stay in this hidden gem. Had everything we needed, clean and spacious. One word of caution if you have a big car the entrance is tight but you do have an allocated parking place right outside. Would stay again

the retreat is modern and very clean. its a little difficult to find. up a very small alleyway, but is quiet and comfortable. christchurch itself is nice but apart from a lovely ploughmans in thr thomas tripp pub the cafes and restaurants in the town didnt really have what we wanted. however there is a toby carvery nearby and i can thouroughly reccomend the carpenters arms on the edge of the new forest. the food is excellent and all fresh. also take a trip to tuckton.and see how the rich live. beautiful houses and boats. you can go by car bus or lovely little flat bottomed ferry.

Property although close to a busy road is actually at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Easy walk into Christchurch town centre or Mudeford and the quay/beach. Reasonably priced accomadation ideal for a young family.

ANOTHER wonderful stay

This is the second time staying here and we love it. The location serves as a great base for seeing all the different things in that area of the world. The flat is comfortable and clean and the kids love crabbing in Mudeford. We will be back.

Very happy with our stay

The property was clean, cosy and perfect for our long weekend break. It was a relaxing place to be when we returned from our days out, with modern amenities, excellent shower/bath and even a small garden for our pooch to enjoy. The hosts communication was great and she was lovely to talk with. I would definitely recommend and definitely use again if we are in that neck of the woods.

Really bad phone connection

We had a pleasant stay. The beds were a little dusty on the frames and there were some hairs on the double sheet. There was a musty smell to the property which was a bit off putting but the kitchen was clean as was the bathroom. Had everything we needed. Felt a little spied on with the ring doorbell

Clean and tidy

Lovely little house, well placed tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Pub/Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and a corner shop all within 50 yards of the property. Center of Christchurch is a 15 minute walk. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. We did find the hot water system was a bit temperamental, however we were informed that it was due for a service.

Very nice clean and comfy accommodation

Lovely place to stay it was clean and had everything we needed for are getaway. very close to local leisure centre that had a nice place to walk the dog. Only 30 min walk to Mudeford and a 20-30 minute drive to Bournemouth. We had a great time and would be happy to stay again in this property.

Holiday accommodation the retreat

Very good. Everything we needed was there. Parking was ok but we had two cars and the spaces were vacant but we parked one on the road. The house was lovely and Theresa seems to have everything so lovely in the home. We wanted for nothing and had a lovely stay.
