Beautiful home in the middle of Amish farmland. Clean and inviting. The hot tub was clean and perfect temp on arrival. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway weekend in the heart of Amish country

Our family enjoyed this stay for a long weekend! The house is beautiful inside and out— Impeccably clean and a beautiful modern farmhouse decor. We enjoyed the beautiful lawn, the calm porch overlooking the rolling hills and farms and the lovely hot tub and fire pit! Close driving distance to nearby attractions in Lancaster, but off the beaten path! Would definitely return when we come back to the area!

Lovely home and beautiful property

What a wonderful weekend we had here. The home is gorgeous (the plants are amazing!) and the property is beautiful. It's tucked out in the country but an easy drive to Lancaster and local attractions. Perfect hot tub and firepit time! The owners were very communicative and responsive. Loved the wine and coffee! We will definitely be back Highly recommend!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet place in the country. The house was clean and the scenery was beautiful. There were some flies in the house but that’s somewhat expected when you stay on a farm in the middle of summer. Only complaint was that the hot tub was not working. Owner notified us of this issue the day before checking in and offered a free cancellation if we chose to opt out but considering we were in the midst of an out of state roadtrip with kids, we didn’t feel like we had adequate time to find another rental.Again, great place to stay. We enjoyed our time there. Only improvement that could’ve been made would have been earlier communication about the hot tub since that is what helped this house stand out from other rental properties in the area when we were looking for houses to stay in.

Disappointing Stay

When we first arrived the house was pictured as listed and beautiful. About a day into our stay, we noticed some concerns that we brought to light to the owner. The house is not insulated properly so it gets very cold. There were about 40 lady bugs on the ceilings throughout the house that we could not reach. The next day we saw mice and had noticed mouse droppings in our clothes, in the shower, closets, and floors near the end of our stay. There was an awful smell downstairs the day before we left. (We did no cooking due to mice) When I went downstairs the last morning there was a mouse on the table (I have a picture) There were not clean linens like noted for one of the bedrooms, and the closet door was off track in one guest room. The hot tub had a bunch of hair, leaves and dead skin along the walls. We booked this little getaway in hopes we could unwind and relax, but with the mouse droppings we had to constantly wash our clothes and clean up. The host put down cheap mouse traps during our stay that didn’t work. This is a huge health and safety concern for anyone staying. Our stay was anything but relaxing and very disappointing to say the least.
