âBeautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer. â
âA charming pub in a great location, but can get crowded. Comfortable room, modern bathroom, everything clean and tidy. Coffee-making facilities in the room a plus. Good food in the restaurant (including breakfast) and a good selection of beers in the bar. Service is directed mainly towards bar customer, so it can be difficult to get attention as a hotel guest. Parking in a dedicated carpark just over the road.â
âThe staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited.â
âBooked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.â
