It is a boutique hotel in its purest form, perfect for people who want that little extra, the authentic old San Juan experience. Itâs probably less for families with small children and more for couples looking for a luxurious getaway, and golly, itâs perfect for the latter!

âOkay room size, quite comfortable bed, good shower, but man was that aircon noisy! It sounded like a jet plane was taking off, some sort of motor generator inside the wall in the room itself was powering the fan and that, unfortunately, brings down my overall rating of this hotel. The breakfast was mostly tasteless with the exception of the pineapple which was good, otherwise everything else available tasted of....nothing at all. Not overly impressed with this place, plus they add on 35 dollars...
âThe property was very historic, charming and quaint but updated where it counted. Rooms were big and comfortable, and the hotel was right in the heart of everything. The staff was outstanding and helpful, and the hotel was immaculate.
I canât say enough about this hotel except we were bummed the rooftop bar was only open on the weekends and we were there during the week. We were sad we missed that, Iâm sure itâs great.â
âThe stay was ok although I made a reservation for one room and they switched me to another. Same happened with another family member. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. â
