“One guy from the staff came in and tried to charge me 10$ per person extra for people visiting for couple hours , he knocked at 4 am asking for the cash and he insisted that he must collect the money now I had to speak with him in a different manner for him to understand ”

“Room was reserved in advance via Expedia and I was asked at check in to pay for it. Shower has no caddy to place soap or shampoo everything had to be placed on the floor while showering, ordered instant Nescafé in the morning a small bowl was delivered with the sachets of Nescafe in it, no hot water, no cups. Pool staff are great with excellent service as well as the restaurant for breakfast. I expected more honestly for 500$ plus for a room, I could have booked 2 nights across the street at...

“Here’s an honest review: Location 5/5 — Perfectly located in the coolest neighborhood of Beirut Amenities 4/5 - It’s a cute, heritage building with an external staircase that’s a little tricky when it rains, but charming AF when it’s a beautiful day out. The “lobby” is charming but feels less of a lounging place, and more like a cafeteria. The shower situation is cute in the corner, but not very practical as water ends up pooling in the room after a reasonable shower. Not a huge deal, but not...

“Fourth floor with balcony. Beautiful spacious room. The host is accessible at all times. Helpful in making a reservation for certain venues. I would definitely stay again in the future.”

“The place is nice, the balcony is the best part but there were some very basic, fixable issues: 1. there was no hot water. 2. The safe was broken (they said every safe in the hotel was broken). 3. They didn't even stock toilet paper (and there was not shatafa also... But for the price and location it's a nice place if you want to be in Mar Mikhail. ”

“Disgusting, dirty, smelly, filthy property that doesn't reflect the photos and should be removed as a listing. The property was unclean with dirty towels and the smell of stale smoke. They are fraudsters, who take your deposit and not return it in full. NEVER STAY WITH THEM.”
