“We loved this house not far from Mt. Rainier. It was quiet and very beautiful. Getting in the hot tub after hiking was amazing. The town of Elbe is only a few minutes away and had a couple of stores to pick up some basics. Make sure you check out the Mt. Rainier webcams before you go to the park. We woke up to a very cloudy day at the house and were going to cancel the Skyline Loop trail but saw on the webcam that the clouds were breaking up there so we went ahead and did the hike. “Loved this place. The bungalow is brand new, super clean, and just a few steps from the lake. Check-in was easy and Chelsea was great to deal with the whole time. Gary and Rebecca, who look after the property, were super nice and even let me use their paddleboard. Great little spot if you're heading to Mt. Rainier. Would happily stay again ”

“Listing NOT accurate: Only 3 queen beds, 3 single beds, no futon couches, no king bed. It sleeps 10 tops with glasses, plates and cookware for 8 . The listing photo shows trees by the house, reality: there is a view of a car/shop garage with 100 junk cars. The fire pit is not usable, no wood anyway. The house was dirty when we arrived, food was on the kitchen floor and we had to mop up the sticky stuff that was near the bar stools. There were no kitchen towels or hand towels for the bathrooms....
