  • Live large while living tiny in this very cozy tiny cottage. Plenty of living space with a living area, dining area, full kitchen, full bathroom, and bedroom (queen bed) downstairs and a large sleeping loft (stair access) with 3 twin beds.

    Located in the North Georgia mountains near Lake Burton, this property is close to hiking, wineries, antiques and more. You can explore the nearby towns of Helen, GA, Clayton, GA, Toccoa, GA, Clarkesville, GA and more with just a short 10-15 minute ride through the gorgeous and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in any direction.

    The kitchen includes a farm sink, coffee maker, Keurig, fridge, microwave, full range stove, and dishwasher. Basic utensils are provided. A dining table is available that seats 4.

    The full bath includes a walk in shower, small sink, and toilet.

    The living space includes a sleeper sofa, coffee table, and TV.

    Please, no four-legged friends.

    Also, no boats, campers, trailers, etc. are allowed into the community.

We live in Atlanta and come up to Burton every summer. This was a great place to stay. The house was as-listed, but the community was such a great surprise. Every morning, we took a walk with our little boy to the creek. The neighbors were kind. It was slow and quiet. We saw different animals every day. We loved this quick mountain escape with the fam.

Everything was top-notch. 100%. Susan even came to assist me with an issue and it was quickly solved, followed by having her son stopped by to confirm everything was in top shape. The community and residence are warm and welcoming. The tiny home was my first experience and a joy I will not soon forget I might even buy one one day thank you all for your hospitality and your beautiful community.

Property was adorable and folks in the community were so friendly and attentive. Susan was very helpful and also allowed us to tour potential tiny homes to buy! The house was clean and adorable. We had some internet issues one night but I unplugged the router and plugged it back in and it seemed to work okay. The house had board games and a tv you could stream on. The bed was comfortable and everything was great. We spent a lot of time on the front porch in the Adirondack chairs. They were great! Thank you Susan and sugar mill creek for our stay! We would definitely recommend this place!

There needs to be more coat hooks in the bathroom. Spatulas for the Teflon coated fry pans. Also in the bedroom on the foot of the bed wall, it would be nice to have a couple of hooks as well for hanging clothes. These are merely suggestions.
