“We absolutely loved staying at the cabin!! We had a blast looking at all the old antiques on the walls. We enjoyed feeding the chickens and looking at the horses. We saw ducks, turtles and deer. We will definitely stay there again when we are visiting!! Thank you Ann and Carl for a wonderful place to stay!!”

“While historial on the outside, the interior was stunningly decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with beautiful dishes and everything we needed for cooking, We enjoyed the downtown shops, which were within walking distance. Nice walking trail right out the front door. My family and I enjoyed the time away from the twin cities in a beautiful and quiet get away. Thank you to the owners for sharing their place with us.”

“We had a very nice anniversary weekend. The full kitchen is well appointed so we could make our own meals and the views of the water were very peaceful while drinking coffee and relaxing. Very close to state park trails for walking. We enjoyed the fireplace and the views.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Bell Tower. It was located near where we needed to be and the host was very good at responding to my inquiries. We were 3 couples and it was a little awkward with the connecting bedroom. It would be fine for families with kids staying in the connecting room but it was different having a couple have to walk through another couple’s bedroom in the middle of the night or while trying to get ready. There is plenty of outdoor space and parking. Overall a nice place.”

“This place right on Lake Tetonka was the perfect location to catch up with old friends. We could kayak right from the cabin and Lake Sakatah State Park was right next door with a beautiful bike trail. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of the lake.”

“We actually rented 2 apartments near each other for graduation weekend. The apartments were awesome! Easy to walk to grocery store, Applebees, McDonalds. Beds and furnishings and decorations are really nice! Would recommend to families.”

“First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. “Perfect setting for some time with family! We had hours of cards and games on the big dining table, along with good food cooked in a well-stocked kitchen. Every room is comfortable and cozy, with beautiful views of the river and lots of turkeys and deer to watch from the deck.”
