“Everything about the property was amazing and I highly recommend it to others. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you could possibly need. The gardens are also very lovely. ”

“Cottage is in a great location within easy walking distance to Sandy Bay shops, cafes and also to Salamanca Place. Quiet & off-street parking is a bonus. Washing machine and dryer are handy to have. The cosy log (gas) fire is enough to warm the cottage, plus heated towel rail and heated floor tiles in the bathroom are an added extra that was appreciated.”

“This property is located just outside the CBD and walkable in around 15-20 minutes if you are able to negotiate some quite steep hills. We stayed in the coach house which is on 2 levels and has 2 double bedrooms and a landing area with a large wardrobe and dresser on the upper floor. Because this particular accommodation was 2 bedrooms and on 2 floors the bathroom is located on the lower level. For me being reasonably mobile this wasn’t too much of a problem but could be a bit tricky for elderly...

“Well furnished spacious rooms, kitchen had everything we needed, great views and lovely neighbourhood. Only downside is no off street parking but that’s not unusual in Battery Point! Would happily book again the next time we’re in Hobart.”

“Comfortable accommodation though the bed was a little hard. Pet friendly but surprised the area surrounding the cottage was not fenced so the dog had to be tied up. The grass needed to be mown and was concerned there could be snakes lurking in the long grass. Overall, a good place to stay, quiet and a 20 minute walk into Richmond.”

“Berwick Cottage was in an excellent location but was let down by the condition of the property. The shower was mouldy and leaked and the paint on the kitchen benchtops was peeling off. One of the windows was broken and a number of the windows wouldn't open properly. On the positive side the property manager was extremely responsive and professional and the beds were very comfortable. It needs the owners to do some significant work to bring it up to standard. ”
