“We are very happy with our experience at this vacation home. The cabin is cozy with some modern upgrades, such as new windows, heat pump and a nice little bathroom. It is genuinely minutes away from all the sites and beaches (and restaurants!) in the area. We were thrilled with the ability to bring our two small dogs with us. “The cottage was nice and clean. It was in the perfect location for our day trips, and very close to North Rustico. I gave 2 star for listing accuracy, as we thought was on a beach spot and could kayak right from the cottage. This was not the case. There is no direct access to the bay, a staircase to the waterfront is quite ways away. This was a big seeking point to booking this cottage and was a disappointment. “The cabin is lovely—both inside and out. The kitchen is well-equipped with just about everything you’d need, and there are plenty of blankets and heaters in every room to keep things cozy and comfortable in the fall weather. The location was ideal for our trip and felt peaceful and private. There was a hiccup with the WiFi when we arrived, which made it a bit tricky to get in touch at first. “The whole place was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. It was -13 out and it did not take long at all to heat the place up with the wood stove. The place was super clean, tidy, cozy, filled with the things you would need to cook, do laundry, relax, and feel right at home. Highly recommended!!!”
