Great Stay

We were visiting Whidbey for a dear friend’s celebration of life. This cottage was perfect, close to the venue, clean, quiet, and well equipped. One of the most well done vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. They thought of everything. It was a lovely stay.

Sweet little bungalow

Though a little off the beaten track, we loved this sweet little bungalow. It was a perfect size for me, my daughter & my granddaughter. In addition to the usual amenities, we especially appreciated the extra little touches--slippers & robes, charging stations, dimmer lights. This house also had the best library of books that I've ever seen!

Luxury Island retreat!

Everything we could possibly need or want was in this updated cottage. Great bedding and mattress! Fluffy towels. Lovely private deck. Front porch water view. Highly recommend!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We love Jim and Nancy’s little cabin in the woods. It’s so cozy and homey. We can feel the love and care they put into this place and appreciate all the little details throughout the home. Our kids love all the art pieces inside and outside of the home. The lights are also a hit with the kids. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place to all of our friends.

Wonderful

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay while on the island. I’m a frequent visitor to Whidbey, but usually stay with family. I wanted something close to them and this listing fit the bill. I’ve never stayed in such a well-appointed place. The house is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. They thought of everything. The owner was responsive to one small issue about the Wi-Fi, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Green Door house.

Great getaway

I booked for a friend who came to the island to help celebrate a milestone birthday for me. It was perfect for her. She said it was quaint and modern at the same time and had nice hospitality touches to it. It was quiet and the perfect spot for her to relax when she wasn’t hanging out with us. I would definitely book again.

Well Appointed and Very Clean Cottage

We loved our stay at "Island Country" cottage. This home is so clean and well stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a comfortable stay on Whidbey Island. From fabulous art to comfortable linens, the home is ready for its guests. All steps, from check-in to check-out, were simple and without incident. We would love to return someday.

A cozy cottage get away

This cottage was so cozy and thoughtfully and artistically put together. We loved it! The photos accurately show what the place looks like in person. The kitchen is impressively well-stocked, the bathroom is too, and the bedrooms have wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows…. The living room is a cozy little space with a well-stocked library and great fireplace. Everything is very clean, fresh, and comfortable, it felt so good being in that space. We lucked out with sunny weather one day of our stay and had the pleasure of sitting on the front deck drinking tea in the sun, it was glorious. Super easy and quick getting to nearby places, and a big thanks for the thoughtful book of recommendations on groceries, places to explore, food places, etc! Village Pizzeria was delicious! Communication with our hosts was great; they were quick to reply and very kind. We highly recommend staying at this cottage!

Very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in. Would go back again when the weather was better. Did not get a chance to enjoy the two decks but that's what you get in March.

Green Door Cottage

A wonderful cottage under the redwoods with a large back deck equipped with everything needed for outdoor entertaining. Inside, much thought went into making guest comfortable. Don't think twice about booking the Green Door Cottage!

Long winter weekend

The house was lovely, with very efficient use of space and there were so many thoughtful items provided to make stay relaxing and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay there again when the weather is drier so we can enjoy the wonderful deck. Nice quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Great stay at the Green Door

We had a fantastic time staying here! It was in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, but we easily could drive around to various towns on the island - Clinton, Langley, and Freeland being the closest. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was comfortable if you want to just stay in and read next to the fireplace. The check in and check out process was simple and the owners were very responsive.

Green door cottage

Very clean and orderly so I was put at ease from worrying about COVID. Everything necessary was provided except for a nonslip bath mat. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant. We will return.
