Before I give an accurate review of the property, let me say that the local property host, did visit us the morning after we checked in and did her best to make our stay acceptable. After contacting the property management, Evolve, the owner was given 24 hours to respond and he did offer a 20% refund on just the amount we paid in rental fees. No other fees we incurred were refunded.The house was absolutely filthy when we arrived. The toilets were nasty and the showers had clumps of hair and visible signs that they had not been cleaned. The bathroom floors had dried urine around the toilet. One of the beds have very evident white stains on the comforter. The floors had hair on the carpet and had obviously not been vacuumed. When we tried to use the vacuum ourselves, the filters and canister were clogged with dirt that had never been emptied. The refrigerator was dirty, and the drawers had dried stuff in them that looked like blood from meat. There were no wash cloths or hand towels. (which, after reporting this to the local host, she did bring us wash cloths and kitchen, dish towels, the next day.) We tried to request a refund so we could go stay at a hotel but we were told that they could only issue a refund if they could contact the owner. Luckily, the local family that we were visiting, assisted us, and we were able to wash all the bed linens and use a borrowed vacuum to clean the entire house. There were dead plants all around the house. They had not been watered.
