We were able to bring our small, 7 lb dog and he slept well in his crate and went outside on his leash. Back deck and fence are not yet completed. Quiet neighborhood is a short drive to shopping or the beautiful beachside boardwalk. Homeowner responded primptly to enquiries.”

“Because this property uses the same system for the 2 units the owner controls the heating and cooling system. We were in the lower apartment and were freezing cold. As seniors we feel the cold and therefore would not have rented this property had we known. It may be fine for younger people but my husband found it so cold he couldn't sleep and we cut our stay short rather than endure the very uncomfortable temperatures. The other issue I had pertains to the lack of kitchen supplies. Minimal...

“Very large cottage. Nice lake to swim in. Kids swam off the dock each day Bonfires each night. Close to a free lovely petting zoo and a gorgeous sandbeach close by. Kayaks and canoe and wood provided. And of course all loved the 8 person hot tub and ice machine. Boys played lots of pool. Parents enjoyed the view from the veranda. Lady who owns it communicated very well. All in all A+”

“Cute 2 bedroom house with all that you need for your convenience. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning and fans were wonderful for our summer stay. House was very clean and central to downdown Cobourg. Feeling of security knowing the police station is right across the street. Close walking distance to downtown and the Cobourg Beach. The beach is clean and spacious with food trucks and ice cream right there. Parking is the only drawback. You either park on side of the road or the parking lot...
