OVERVIEW
Located on scenic Indian River Dr-our guest house has direct river access and water views! A short drive to Cocoa Village or the beaches-our historic guest house is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing escape, romantic getaway, holiday stays, beach trips, taking in rocket launches, or a place to stay prior to a cruise etc;

Our thoughtfully appointed space will make for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

(Please note there are 2 steps to the bathroom and 2 steps to the bedroom)

BEDROOM
The 'Indian River Guest House' offers 1 bedroom with memory foam king bed and cotton linens.

BATHROOMS
We have 1 Full bathroom-with a tub/shower combo. Bath towels provided.

WIFI & TV
The 'Indian River Guest House' has WIFI and a 'Smart TV' which gives you access to streaming apps such as: Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.

KITCHEN
It comes equipped with full kitchen amenities, farmhouse sink, butcher block countertops-brand new stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, French Press, Keurig, toaster so you can prepare your own farm-to-table meals with fresh food from local Rockledge Gardens Farmers Market or nearby grocery store. We provide fresh ground coffee, creamer and assorted teas as well as light breakfast foods: grits, oatmeal.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Your own parking space and private entrance. Access to our dock to enjoy coffee or cocktails.

BEACH SUPPLIES:
We have beach chairs, beach umbrella, turkish towels, cooler and sunscreen for your use!

ABOUT OUR GUEST HOUSE
Our 'Indian River Guest House' is detached from our Main House. It dates back to 1917. We recently added our own modern touches to create an inviting, peaceful + tranquil space. We can't wait to welcome you to stay!

We take pride in using plant-based, non-toxic cleaning + laundry supplies. We encourage recycling and are continuing to make our home as eco-friendly as possible.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
We certainly love all of our furry friends but due to guest allergies they are not allowed on property so that everyone who visits can enjoy their stay!

Great property perfect for a couples getaway. Kitchen well stocked and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable bedroom. Owners were very accommodating. Location was great on the river, fishing option from their dock. Close to Cocoa Village and the Port Canaveral, good restaurants. Two launches during our stay.

The kitchen was well equipped. The entire property was clean. My only complaint was the lighting - very dim lights made trying to read a book pretty difficult. We love to read at the end of a busy day but the dim lights made it almost impossible. Only one light in the dining area and no light over the kitchen island. Every bulb seemed to be a 15 watt bulb.

We spent a wonderful February at the Historic Indian River Guest House, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for us — close to family and right near my husband’s childhood stomping grounds, which made the stay even more special. Jennifer and Michael were exceptional hosts. They were always available to answer questions and offered great recommendations for local sights and restaurants. We especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen, where we prepared many of our meals, and the dock, which provided an amazing spot to watch rocket launches. We also loved being able to explore the charming area around the guest house on foot. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Cocoa and would gladly stay at Jennifer and Michael’s guest house again.

We stayed a month in January 1926. Jennifer is a gracious host , the cottage was decorated with great taste. It’s very very close to restaurants and shops. I grew up in North Brevard County and there’s lots to do here. It’s fun being back again visiting with my wife. I don’t think you would go wrong at all. The one negative, but I still gave it a five is the couch that’s very low and my wife and I are in our 70s and it was hard to get out of it at times. The dock across the road allows great access to setting and reading overlooking the beautiful Indian river lagoon next time we are coming back with friends and plan on staying at another one of Jennifer’s properties just down the road with two bedrooms.

Jennifer & Michael were most gracious hosts, there when I needed them and gave me space when I didn't, the property is lovely and the bed amazing, I've never slept so well, brill location for watching rocket launches, I saw 2 night launches and went down to playalinda beach for an amazing day launch. So pleased with my stay, if I ever come back I will come here, I cannot recommend it enough.

Indian River Cottage

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate place on Indian River in Cocoa, Florida. The place was spotless and the owner communicated clearly on the check-in and checkout process. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful location and very clean

Wonderful stay at this beautiful beach cottage. It is just as described and pictured. Very clean and stocked with essentials for your stay. The only minor complaint I have would be the nest thermostat kept defaulting to 76 degrees, which was a bit warm for sleeping. The host was very kind and responsive to any questions or needs we had. A beautiful home in a safe neighborhood, with views that are dreamy. Would definitely stay again!

Exceeded Expectations

Loved the quiet, peaceful and lovely neighborhood. The proximity to Cocoa area amenities is perfect. Having the owner's on the property was important for us. Wonderful Views and Easy Access

We were only staying in the area a couple of days and had some day trips. The place was cozy and comfortable (really liked the layout). Jennifer was really good to offer assistance if we needed it, but everything worked out well. I would have liked to see a launch (we could see Kennedy Space Center from the house), but the launch scheduled was postponed. We would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to visit Orlando or KSC (or just head to the beach!).

Great location and quiet

The location was perfect, right across the street from the water and close to major roads. Very quiet and not a lot of cross traffic. The rental was very clean with all necessities available for your stay and the owner was available if you needed anything. We will make sure to request again when we visit our friends in Rockledge.

We had such a GREAT Stay!!! We were very pleased with our stay at the Historic Indian River Guest House! It was a PERFECT LOCATION and EASY ACCESS to the freeway to get on our Cruise! Jennifer and Michael were great and the communication was excellent! We were even able to see a Rocket Launch and even experience a Sonic Boom!!! We will stay again - Thank You!
