Welcome to Alger Hideaway! This newly renovated cottage is just steps away from historic downtown Cody, within a block of restaurants, coffee houses, breweries, bars and shops. This cottage has a great location with plenty of privacy. This calming space has room for up to 4 guests and is a great basecamp for your adventures in Cody, Yellowstone National Park and beyond. Plus, the home is pet friendly, so bring you 4 legged family members with you!
When you step into the living room at Alger Hideaway, you find a sleeper sofa for additional guests, a loveseat, smart tv and a cozy fireplace to warmth and ambiance on cooler evenings. The kitchen has all updated appliances and is well appointed for ease of preparing meals. The granite topped breakfast bar is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and plan your next adventure. The tranquil bedroom with a newly upgraded queen bed has plenty of closet space for your travel wardrobe and a smart tv. The bathroom has a step in shower and vanity plus additional storage to keep your organized. The hallway has a convenient stackable washer and dryer. Outside you will find a gas grill for cooking on warm summer evenings. Make Alger Hideaway your cozy retreat while exploring all Cody Wyoming has to offer!

There are actually 5 museums here and while Buffalo Bill's story is the star attraction, the Yellowstone Natural History museum was also really interesting. I was so impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the old photographs were just wonderful. A real surprise

This is such a quaint house. It is fully stocked for your every need, and we loved the off street parking. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was within walking distance of businesses. Everything about this trip was amazing!

Great place for a couple! Very cozy and well designed, Easy to find in daylight but very difficult at night. Abby who was very friendly ,from management company had to help us locate it. Very close to many restaurants!

Really appreciated the AC being on and the unit cool, and ice in the fridge, when we arrived. Unit is a bit hard to find but very satisfactory. You need to add some glass where, plastic wrap and perhaps some silver wear, but the unit met our needs to a high degree. Would rent it again!

Great Location

This property had pros and cons. Location was great but no instructions were given so we had to call property manager. Air conditioner in window had a musty, moldy smell so we turned it off. WE used ceiling fan. Did not like it that we couldn't open blinds on windows to let in light. Not adequate kitchen utensils as no spatula for grill or inside. Very few flat ware. Bar stools were very uncomfortable.

We based in Cody to travel to Yellowstone and the Tetons…probably farther than we wanted to drive each day. Enjoyed what Cody offered. We had trouble initially finding the property-expected it to be on Alger Street-not in the alley. The VRBO was Great! We loved the upscaled look. We missed having a working clock in the bedroom particularly. The outlet in the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work so we needed to use the bedroom mirror for hairdrying etc.

Excellent property

The house was convenient to town, clean, and very comfortable. Laundry machines are on site and really appreciated! We would highly recommend! Plus, the town of Cody was friendly and adorable.

Great location

This was a great location within walking distance to gift shops and restaurants. If you bring your pup, there is a fabulous green belt across the street to walk them. We would stay again if we were to visit Cody again.
