"We stayed two nights at Sunrise Motor Inn and found the room to be small but cozy—perfectly adequate for our needs. The location is convenient, with quick access to downtown Cody, Walmart, and activities on the west side of town. One downside was the pool, which was quite dirty when we arrived. We ended up cleaning it ourselves as no staff seemed available to handle it. It was unclear who actually worked at the inn, and the staff we did meet spoke little to no English, which made communication difficult. The check-out process was also confusing; a man who claimed to be staff simply took our key cards without formally completing the check-out. On the positive side, we met many friendly fellow guests, which added to the experience. The AC worked well and provided much-needed relief from the summer heat. In summary, Sunrise Motor Inn is a decent budget option for younger travelers who don’t require full service, but it may not suit older guests who expect higher service standards."
