Om boendet

The Hozee’s Cozee Cottage Where comfort meets fun Downtown Coeur d’Alene.

  • Welcome to Hozee’s Cozee Cottage! A beloved Coeur d’Alene retreat where charm, comfort, and classic North Idaho vibes come together in the best way.

This inviting 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home sits right in the heart of Coeur d’Alene, making it the perfect home base for families, couples, and anyone wanting to truly experience the area. One of our favorite details? During classic car weekends and local events, beautiful historic cars cruise right past the front of the home, creating a nostalgic, small-town feel you won’t forget.

Inside, the cottage was thoughtfully renovated in 2018 and blends modern touches with cozy character. The gourmet kitchen features quartz countertops and is fully equipped for family meals, game-night snacks, or slow mornings with coffee. The main-floor primary suite offers a peaceful retreat, while an additional guest bedroom and half bath make hosting easy and comfortable.

Downstairs is where the fun really happens — kids (and kids at heart) will love the bunk room, full bathroom, spacious lounge, and game area that’s perfect for movie nights and winding down after a day at the lake.

Start your mornings on the charming front porch, coffee in hand, soaking in the neighborhood energy or head out and be downtown in minutes. You’re just a short walk or drive from parks, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and all that makes Coeur d’Alene so special. Ample parking makes arrivals and day trips a breeze.

Whether you’re here for lake days, downtown exploring, family memories, or classic car spotting, Hozee’s Cozee Cottage is a place where guests instantly feel at home relaxed, welcomed, and ready to make memories.

Clean and nicely appointed. Easy few blocks to downtown. Cute backyard. Across the street from a bed and breakfast with good dinner menu. No access to washer and dryer that I saw on the property. VRBO listed check-in at 3pm. Owners told us 4pm. Overall would recommend this property, but ask that they make sure to be clear on communicating start time to avoid disruption in plans. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway Cottage in Coeur d'Alene

Hozee's Cozee Cottage in Coeur d'Alene, ID, is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the high-quality linens, towels, kitchenware, and furnishings. Everything is meticulously chosen, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes' walk to downtown, McEuen Park, the lake, Tubbs Hill, and more. Hozee Cozee Cottage is a MUST!!!

The owners were responsive and friendly they answered every question leading up to our stay. This property is amazing the pictures are spot on. We were there for my daughter's wedding we had family in a number of locations staying around town all within 2 miles some of those rentals were larger but did not stand up to the comfort, cleanliness and amenities of the property. It is impeccably clean; the beds and bedding were comparable to a Hilton. We started our day with any style of coffee we desired toast and lots of laughter. The neighbors were helpful and friendly. The location was ideal a quick walk to everything not more than five minutes and you are on Sherman with something for everyone. We walked Tubbs Hill and did a little shopping in the morning had a quick lunch in town then back to the house for family dinner. After we picked up q number of us went back to Sherman to finish the evening with a drink at one of the great bars downtown where we mixed it up with locals. The backyard is comfortable and inviting. The adults played cards at the table other sat by the fire. The younger adults went downstairs to play pac-man and air hockey. The pictures of my daughter preparing for her wedding came out beautiful. I left a few items mistakenly and I was contact a day later and it was quickly arranged to return it to me. Ag started with excellent communication and ended with excellent communication. Thank You. Your property is amazing! See you soon!
