“This is a very charming old home in Alexandria. Our stay here was homey and relaxing; the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was sufficient for making a few meals. Easy walk to the Waterfront down Prince Street (although I prefer going down Duke), and about a 15 minute walk to Whole Foods, Old Town, Good Restaurants, etc. This house is situated along Route 1, so there is a lot of traffic which I find to be very pleasant. Beware, that being an historic home, the stairs are narrow and the...

“Lovely home, super comfortable beds, nice fenced in yard, and close to lots of great restaurants! Mark was such a kind host. We all enjoyed the couple days we stayed.”

This home afforded us the opportunity to relax in a comfortable environment, team without interruptions, and have a comfortable, quiet place to sleep.The home was clean and as advertised. “The house was the perfect quiet hideaway in a quaint little historic town. The layout is quirky but you soon get used to it and it all makes sense. ENORMOUS surrounding green space and perfect patio placement to watch the storms blow through. Well stocked and easy to reset.”

Fantastisk pool!

"Vi checkade in på kvällen, då kändes hotellet lite tveksamt. Ingen personal hade arbetskläder på sig och informationen vi fick var minimal. Men dagen därpå fick vi en bättre bild av hotellet och allt kändes bra. Typisk Best Western frukost som var väldigt bra. Fanns olika varma rätter varje dag. Våfflor, frukt, bröd, flingor. Poolen vsr fantastisk! Den var ren och det fanns alltid lediga solstolar. Enda negativa är att poolen öppnar kl 12 på dagen. Rummet med king säng och bäddasoffa bar hyfsat rymligt. Bra kyl med frysfack. Parkering precis utanför rummet. Kändes som ett säkert område och relativt tyst. Många affärer och restauranger i närheten."

"After a long flight from Europe landing late at night it was nice to only have a short transfer bus to the hotel - make sure you go to the right place at the airport to catch the bus, and notice there are 2 Hyatt hotels so you take the right one. Check in was quick and easy - nice big room, it was like a small apartment, very nice if you stay for a while. Breakfast was basic but had all I wanted, nice do-it-youself waffle iron. Didn´t like plastic knife/fork...but thats about all what I have to critisize about ..nice hotel for the money, only a short walk from the trainstation to take us directly downtown Washington. "
