Only a very few of us can truly relate to this genre of music. This was a free gig that was open to anyone and everyone. Given that there were 2 other events happening in Colombo and Mount Lavinia, we ended up having this hardcore fans who enjoyed the fraternity on a Saturday evening. The only venue the rock community can get these days. But seems like this would be the last few concerts that we get to do here. The government is renovating the place, so they say. Till then we need to find another location.

This is a stadium which has a run down building with a theatre style stage with torn curtains. Right in front of the hall is this Bamboo Tree/ Bush, which gives a serene feel to the somewhat busy location.

A good middle class hotel with friendly staff
Very helpful and very friendly staff. This hotel is a bit away from the city centre (busstations and Fort Railway station). It takes about 15 minutes by tuk tuk. You can also go here by public bus. The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), is a convention center located in Colombo. Built between 1970 and 1973, the convention center was a gift from the People's Republic of China in memory of Solomon Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka from 1956 to 1959. The construction of the Hall was carried out by a joint Sri Lankan and Chinese workforce with a considerable portion of the building materials being imported from China. In the picture are both Veg and Non Veg Options; Geek HQ 's special burger named Its Cloebbrin Time, Chewie Sandwich the non veg option and Red's Big Fries. This all came to a total of around 4000LKR which was quite reasonable and was shared among 4 of us!
