Welcome to "Platte West," your perfect digital nomad haven. You're a minutes walk to Old Colorado City and less than 2 miles driving to Garden of the Gods entry, with a trailhead just a 15-minute walk away! Platte West boasts cool, modern-anthropology decor, with a beautiful open kitchen connecting two living areas. Find your perfect workspace among large windows, over-sized TV, comfortable couches, and a bar top with seats to engage on both sides.

Thoughtfully designed bedrooms offer versatility for your extended stay. The primary suite features a luxurious King bed, while the second bedroom provides a comfortable Queen. The third bedroom, equipped with two twin-trundle beds, can serve as either a guest room or a quiet reading space - perfect for your work-from-home lifestyle.

Enjoy complete privacy and independence throughout your stay. Access the home through a secure digital keypad, allowing you to come and go as you please with no need for in-person key exchanges or check-ins. The entire property is yours to make your home base, with no shared spaces or onsite management to worry about.

If you'd prefer to take some down-time from all Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Woodland Park offer, hangout on the back deck while kids (and adults) take advantage of the backyard turf. Comfortable stay

This served our purpose of being close to a family gathering, with enough space for privacy, plenty of towels, and the additional half bathroom. I did notice that if we had needed the trundle beds, we would have had to move the furniture to pull them out. The overhead lights were overly bright for us, and there weren't many lamps to use instead.

Great location

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We had a great time in Colorado Springs visiting the sites and the house was in a great location. Just a few suggestions for future guests (as we have traveled and used VRBO on many vacations): A welcome letter with the WIFI passwords and TV operating instructions for those not familiar with streaming services (we had elderly parents with us). Also, some furniture that is more accommodating for the elderly. We did not receive the message about check out procedures until the night before and we didn’t check our messages until the following day while we were traveling home. (We did what we had done from previous trips and renting through VRBO). We also cooked quite a bit, so trash had to be taken out more often so knowing the locations of the trash bins would have been helpful to know before the night before (although we managed to find it on our own). So, checkout procedures in the welcome letter would be helpful. Just FYI, the dishwasher and the icemaker were not working.

Christmas vacation

the house was perfect for our family, nice quite neighborhood, with a big back yard perfect for the kids to play in. The views from the back porch was also AMAZING! Definitely recommend.
