Denna 5 sovrum, 3600 kvm ft hem, sover 12+ personer och har 2 vardagsrum utrustade med DirectTV. Övervåningen består av ett sovrum (king size-säng och 5 delar bad), ytterligare två sovrum (1 queen size-säng och 1 uppsättning våningssängar) och ett extra badrum. På bottenvåningen finns ett sovrum (1 tvilling med utdragbar spjäll), och källaren har ett extra sovrum (1 dubbelsäng) tillsammans med ett badrum. Vi håller en barnsäng i huset tillsammans med flera luftmadrasser om det behövs. Köket är fullt utrustat med redskap, grytor / stekpannor, diskar, glas, crockpot och även rätter för barnen. Vi har också en stolstol / barnstol för våra minsta gäster. Vi är belägna i Monument, bara fem minuter från Air Force Academy North Gate-ingången i ett lugnt, familjevänligt område.

Köket är fullt möblerat med alla köksredskap och prylar du behöver för underbara måltider eller snacks. Utanför hittar du en avkopplande badtunna, en 6-personers matsats, en grill och gungesset. Kom och njut av en underbar, avkopplande semester - använd ditt "hem hemifrån" som en bas för att njuta av allt som Colorado Springs och Denver har att erbjuda.

Colorado Springs flygplats ligger cirka 35 minuter bort, såväl som Denver-flygplatsen cirka 1 timme. 15 minuter bort. Det finns så mycket att se och göra ... allt inom en kort bilresa! Air Force Academy är en snabb 5 minuters bilresa. Spendera tid på att koppla av på bakdäcket eller ta en promenad på Sante Fe Trail (en 2 minuters promenad från vår ytterdörr!). Att utforska Cheyenne Mountain Zoo är alltid en spräng! Kugghjulet tar dig upp till toppen av Pike's Peak, eller tar en promenad genom Garden of the Gods och besöker Balancing Rock. Besök Seven Falls eller utforska Winds Cave. Barnen kan njuta av Santa's Workshop eller köra genom bergen. Cripple Creek är inte långt borta, och Denver är lite över en timme bort.

All Together Home

This was the perfect place for my parents, brother and his wife and three kids (7, 5, 1), and my other brother his wife and two kids (5, 2) and dog. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own rooms to chill out, but also plenty of places to gather together in the kitchen, dining room, and multiple living spaces. The 4 bathrooms were also great for all of us. It was close to our extended family in Monument, lots of food options and different places to walk and play for the kids. I loved walking to the crushed limestone trail in the morning and taking a long walk before the heat of the day kicked in. The views on that trail can't be beat. The house had recently been redone and everything was beautiful and clean. Because it had recently been redone, there were a few things amiss like the ice maker hadn't started and a towel bar needed to be tightened down. Heather - the host - responded quickly and made sure things were addressed and taken care of. She's great and and great to work with. The wifi was strong. My nieces and nephews could easily access the streaming services on the TVs for their morning cartoons. There was also a great little carpeted room under the stairs that my nieces and nephews loved playing in. The swing set in the backyard was popular too. They aren't quite tall enough to play with the foosball table and pingpong table, but that would be great for older kids and adults. The hot tub was a nice place to relax at the end of the day too.

Love this property!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Absolutely love this home. It’s comfortable, cozy, and spacious. From fresh flowers and homemade cookies waiting for us upon arrival, to the comprehensive list of local sites and amenities, the host is thoughtful, kind and responsive. There’s a nice size, fenced yard for our dogs, plus nearby hiking trails in this quiet, family and dog friendly neighborhood. If you’re visiting the Colorado Springs area, highly recommend this property!

Lovely home in cute neighborhood

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Loved this home! Perfect location for our trip with plenty of shopping and dining close by. Heather was a gracious host, left us cookies for our arrival-a welcome treat after our long drive. She was available for questions, if needed, but her comprehensive list of instructions for the house contained all the information we needed. The house was impeccably clean and ready for us upon arrival. The fenced yard was a nice size for our 2 medium sized dogs and the neighborhood was cute with walking paths nearby. Thank you for everything-we’ll be back!

Great House, Great Location

We highly recommend this spacious house in a wonderful neighborhood, close to Colorado Springs. The owner was friendly and communicative, even left a huge plate of chocolate chip cookies for us. Having four bathrooms was a treat, and the newly remodeled master bedroom was amazing. We appreciated the hot tub and the pet-friendly environment. Book it with confidence.

Best stay ever!

It was such a beautiful property, it was so comfy, working with Heather was amazing. We will definitely stay here again. My son absolutely loved the downstairs and the "little room" he was so sad to leave. All the kids loved playing and staying at this property. It was nice for everyone in our party!

What a great place to stay with kids!

So. Many. Toys! And an awesome hot tub for the adults too. She had cookies and roses waiting for us. The place was clean and well stocked. It was a great hang out for our spring break. Plenty of activities at the house as well as nearby.

Lovely Home

This home was a lovely place for our extended family to converge for a family wedding in the Springs. The home was large and open and we felt like there was plenty of room, even with 9 of us. The kids loved the basement and the upstairs bedrooms! The master bedroom was huge, and all the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was definitely a favorite place. Our communication with Heather, the owner, was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

Family vacation

We had our entire family of 14 here and we had plenty of space. The home was lovely and had lots of games and activities for the grandchildren. The two smallest grandkids loved the “princess” room! Heather was wonderful at check in. Wonderful family vacation.

Living out of suitcase.

• There was NO drawer space available to store our clothes. The owners’ personal property filled every closet and dresser. We were living out of our suitcases during our stay. • We could not park our rental vehicle in the garage because it was filled with the owners’ personal property. This was rather inconvenient, considering the inclimate weather we experienced. • I informed the owner I was hosting my 4 grandchildren, ages 1 to 10, and their mom. Upon arrival the owner informed me they staged some of the kids bedrooms with very old and fragile antique toys, which could be broken or hazardous. We had to scramble to make the residence “kid safe” before allowing the children inside.

Spacious home

We had a wonderful time in the Colorado Springs area. This home was in a great location for the places we were visiting. There were plenty of restaurants and conveniences within a few miles of the home. The home owners were very helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this home.

Enjoyable & Relaxing

Heather was a great hostess. She worked with our arrival time, showed us around and made us feel comfortable in her home. The location was convenient with stores near-by. The house worked great. The décor was rich with character and inviting both inside & outside. With bedrooms and bathrooms on multiple levels, we all had our privacy. The beds were comfy, the linens nice and plush, fluffy towels. The gathering areas like the kitchen & dinette allowed for good social time. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies (spices, baggies, paper towels, nice dishes & flatware, pots/pans, utensils). The frige was spacious, clean and cleaned out to give us plenty of space. The deck was our favorite hang-out spot with comfy furniture and just a few steps down to the spacious yard. Everything flowed well. We did not use the hot tub or grills, but they were easily available. We especially appreciated that we could have our dogs with us. Thank you for trusting us with your home, Heather. We will plan on it again on future trips, if you agree to have us back.

Home away from home

We spent 11 days while our granddaughter recovered from surgery. It was so much better than the hassle of getting hotel rooms, eating out and finding things to do for 3 energetic tweens and teen. The boys missed the basketball hoop but made up for it with the inside games, and trampoline. The space was great for the 8 of us. We visited sights near by, went fishing at area lakes, enjoyed the hot tub, cooked out and made s'mores. This was our first experience with Home Away and it truly was a great experience. We will definitely do this again.

Perfect USAFA rental home

Our stay was awesome! The owners made the whole rental process from beginning to end very easy and accommodating. We hope to stay here in the future. It was a comfort to know the owners were just a phone call away. Our every need was met. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of sleeping quarters. Great neighborhood and close proximity to the Air Force Academy.

Not a good place for children. Pot/pans inadequate for family of 6 . Owner interrupts often.

We were greeted by home owner and reviewed house and how things worked. They wanted us in early which was nice to Get in early. But on check out day the expected us to get out early. Owner showed up early way before check out. She brought maid and interrupted our family breakfast. Stated I had told her that we would be out. There were many valuable toys and decorations. We were asked not to touch or play . This is challenging with small children. Each child's room had many items and not able for our children to play in or to be put to bed at night without being supervised. The first night we wer staying there was a problem with hot tub. Would only run for short periods of time. The second night the grill ran out of propane. Each time we called owner to fix which took time away from our vacation. We will not stay here next year or refer friends.

Family stay for our daughter's wedding!!

Thanks so much to Heather for making our recent stay at the Temple home so comfortable and enjoyable. We brought the entire family, including kids and grand children for an "out-of-town" wedding. Heather was so accommodating by asking if there was anything we needed then providing high chairs and pack-n-plays for us. Our grand children loved all the toys and books and kept them happily occupied. Also, the hot tub, backyard swing set and trampoline were enjoyed many times during our stay. The house was not only beautiful it was comfortable and very functional for all our wants and needs. We felt so "at home" that on "Check-out" day, we forgot about the scheduled time to leave. Heather took it in stride and assured us that the extra 1 1/2 hours we needed were no problem. Thank you Temple family for allowing us to feel so at home away from home!!!

Perfect home in a great location.

Our stay started off with the owner meeting us at the house and giving us a tour as well as insruction on how to use washing machine, dishwasher, hot tub, wifi etc...Everything was clean and you easily feel right at home. There is plenty of room to spread out. We had a party of 9 and never once felt crowded. 2 story house with basement allowed lots of room to breathe. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the highway. Kids had a great time playing air hockey, outdoor basketball, and we all had a great time relaxing in the hot tub. There is also foosball and lots of board games to play!! The owners were also available to answer questions at all times if we had any. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again!!
