“The room was excellent, bigger than I thought, Staff was friendly, helpful and very nice.”

“Great staff from front desk to cleaning and breakfast room staff (friendly and helpful). The pool, spa and sauna are a nice addition. The room was a little dated but well-appointed (robes, hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave, frig). I also loved the balcony that faced the river. The chowder at 5pm and hot cookies at 2pm were fantastic! The free breakfast was a nice touch too. Ill be back!”

“Clean is room and staffs was friendly, I was able to check in early than 4pm and it was very helpful when traveling with young kids. Breakfast was great but was hoping to have more variety on hot food. Pool is dark and small, water is not so clear, and we only swam one time. Walking distance to other attractions and view is great from the patio. Would like to stay next time.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. While the location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main downtown area—the overall experience was disappointing, especially for $249.93 per night. The biggest issue was cleanliness. When we opened the bed, we found blood stains on the sheets. Housekeeping came to replace them, but the replacement sheets also had blood stains. There were also mosquitoes in the room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The room...

“This was a great location and staff friendly but I have never stayed in a VRBO property that was so tattered. Carpet had dog pee spots all over and bathrooms were from the 1970’s, avocado green and harvest gold. All cabinets had scratches and smelled like old wood. The kitchen was very nice though and beds were comfortable. I would advise to leave air freshener to cover the wet dog smell. Advise others to look closely at pictures as well. Table tops were worn and needed refinishing. ...

“Checked in and our room smelled terribly like marijuana smoke. Assistant manager Michael came to the room, confirmed the smell, told us he did not have another room to offer us as they were fully booked but he would be giving us a 20% discount through Expedia. I contacted Expedia right away and they were fantastic about everything. All they wanted was confirmation from the hotel about the 20% discount. Expedia and ourselves contacted the hotel multiple times and they told us there were no notes...

“The pictures advertised on expedia.com are NOTHING like the room checked into. In fact, the 'apartment' of which pictures are rendered, isn't anything like the actual room which is rented. This is a clear cut example of false advertisement. The office staff said as much 'the apartment is unique, and none of the rooms share attributes similar to the pictures advertised'. In FACT, it was later unveiled, that the 'apartment' advertised, was given to the house keeping staff, and not even available...

“Helpful staff. Great location and extremely clean room. We stayed right on the beach and arranged to have a personal fire pit for s'mores made for us. Awesome experience. Great property- would definitely stay again.”
