“The Black Magnolia was the perfect retreat/getaway! The house, impeccably clean, is centrally located and within walking distance to all the town sights and restaurants. Should you choose to take the trolly to the wineries, it picks up at the front door! The home is far enough away from the train tracks, you don’t hear the hustling of the cars or the warning horn. The owner, Scott could not be any friendlier or accommodating. He goes out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and is very quick to respond to any requests or questions. We are getting ready to schedule several additional trips here for the 2026 boating season. ”

“Property near train track and river, but home is well insulated and blocked most all sound. Neighborhood quiet and respectful. Quick walk to mainstreet, Katy trail, casino area. Exterior is not a reflection of interior. Exterior could use a power wash. Interior is simple, yet welcoming. Communication with property owner/manager was timely and clear.”

“The house was located up a winding drive and a tree had fallen across the road. Called the hosts and they were there within 15 mins with a chainsaw to clear the way!! The house was very clean and they thought about numerous little things one might need... qtips, hair ties, neosporin, coffee, tiny sewing kit etc. Kitchen was stocked with all the basic appliances and dishes you'd need to make any home cooked meal. The home is older and doesn't have central heat or air but lots of window a/C units...
