This charming house is the perfect home base for your trip to Columbus. Nestled in a lively neighborhood, the property is conveniently located near breweries and local attractions. With three queen bedrooms, everyone will have a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring the city. We’re happy to assist with any questions during your stay.
Please note that we have security cameras on the property for safety reasons. They are located at the front entrance and the back entrance, overseeing the backyard.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

We had to book this home last minute for my husband to be able to work. The host was absolutely wonderful.He worked with us very quickly and efficiently and made our process seamless. The home was very welcoming and clean and in a good neighborhood! We will absolutely be booking this home again.If we have to stay in this area. We are very picky about the places we stay for cleanliness and id 100% recommend this property.

The property was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 3 children. It was clean and the yard, both front and back was fenced which was very nice, especially with having children on the trip. It is conveniently located to the downtown area and there is a very good and popular restaurant (Budd's Dairy) across the street. Our host, Brian, was readily available for any questions and we will plan to stay at this property on future visits to Columbus.

Columbus get away

House was in a great location! Can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, brewery and an ice cream shop! Communication was great, very prompt response! Clean with a lot of outdoor space to take in the pretty days we spent there!

Great House, great location!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this home! Nice outdoor setup and we loved the pool table/ping pong table. Location is very convenient to dining options and we were even close enough to walk back after the Ohio State game!

Even better in person!

Don’t skip this house! We stayed as a family of 7 (5 adults, 2 teens and 1 kid) and there was plenty of space and things to do! The house itself had so much character, plus a pool table and the cutest backyard to keep us entertained. BUT the real treat of this house is the location! We had no idea how close we would be to the neatest places. A few steps away to coffee and breakfast, directly across the street from one of the best food halls I’ve even been too, with nightlife. And next door to a brewery. It was convenient to get on and off the highway. We truly enjoyed this visit to Columbus and the house played a huge part!
