I think the customer service could have been better, they were ok! Didnt feel too welcome from the staff in the front desk!

âThis is the only hotel we will stay at when we visit Detroit. Exceeded our expectations. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful whether we're just walking in the door or need assistance. Walking distance from all event centers and greektown. â
âExperienced three different reception staff between check-in and check-out and ALL 3 were the friendliest we've ever dealt with! Slightly disappointed the TV does not swivel and the rainfall shower head is kind of annoying but not the end of the world.â

âFabulous, fabulous place to stay! Beautiful interior and immaculately clean. I stayed two days and would definitely stay again in the future. The communications from Kasa were clear and comprehensive. Nice little touches like ear plugs, bottled water and cookies. Right in the heart of downtown Detroit, but I still found it quiet and safe. By far, the best place I stayed on my tour through Michigan.â
âWell, we checked in the early afternoon. Did not take long to check in. Everyone was very pleasant. The room was great but I did expect a Jacuzzi for a suite. Food court was great. Good pizza. We walked around a few blocks,( to Mom's Spaghetti) from the hotel it was kind scary the first couple of blocks. There was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk with trash around. There was another man asking for money at the Walk light. ( We live in the country and my mind was blown)) once we crossed it...

"Love the Shinola design and was very excited to stay here - but will not return. Dont get me wrong, the design of the room was great and the check in was friendly and a glass of bubbly was received. The films telling about brand, materials, design etc was great to watch. Comfortable bed. But the cleaning between the days was so poor and had dust in the corners and mold in the "zink hole". Don't even think the pillows were fluffed between the days. The beautiful Shinola alarm clock showed wrong time (1 hour) and be prepared to wait very long if you having breakfast in house. It did not live up to expectations and there are plenty of other hotels out there I rather try next time. But location is great, value for money less."
