“A lovely hotel on a golf course,we were also lucky as when we stayed there was a horse race meeting right across the road from the hotel.The staff at the hotel were some of the most helpful and friendly staff I have come across,going that extra mile.The room was big and comfortable,the food was very tasty,breakfast and evening meal.”

“When we were planning our trip to Ireland, we knew we wanted to experience a bit of everything; which of course included a thatched roof cottage on a farm, and The New Thatched Cottage was absolutely perfect. “Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area....

Spaceous and clean
"Overall a good hotel with very nice and helpful staff and a clean room that looked better than the pictures, but there where some things thant could've been better: The shower/bathtub only has one shower head attached to the wall above the tap with quite low pressure which makes it a bit of an acrobatic performance to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The vents in the windows could not be completely closed which prevented the loud noises from the street to be shut out. It would've been nice if there were water and bathrobes in the room too. "
