“The room is a bit on the small side. The heating/cooling unit doesn't work properly so expect to be either too hot or too cold. No staff is around after 5 so if you need something you are on your own. To me the bed was comfortable as it is soft and I am a side sleeper. The pillows are on the flat side and need to be replaced. The shower head is also needing repair or replacing. Little details like this are important to truely make this place Bliss.”

“We stayed two nights at the Coast Discovery Inn and didn’t have the greatest experience. The walls of the rooms are very think so you can hear what people are saying in the rooms next to you. All the doors slammed shut so made it very difficult to sleep at night. We were right outside the elevator and it was very loud so needless to say we did not sleep well at all. The bathroom was et up very strange and it was awkward trying to get ready in the mornings. The continental breakfast was average....

“Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.”
