Barbara was very helpful, including telling the story of how the farm was created and showing everything, including the animals. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. “Nice farmhouse with a great view. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Kitchen is big with an attached dining area. Front porch is nice to watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage. The firepit is great (would recommend removing the tree blocking the view of the lake from the firepit). Best thing is the house was well stocked with all the paper products you need (minus kleenex), garbage bags, coffee, firewood, laundry needs and soap.”

“The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day.”

Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. We were able to relax, wander the country road and vineyards right out our front door. Thank's for the memories!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this remote location, although not long enough. It was convenient to Ives Run, where our reunion was held. The rooms were very comfortable and we loved the living room area with the huge windows. The property was amazing, although the muddy areas prevented our morning hike. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful views. House is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Nice touch with a spotting scope to see the wildlife out back. Only complaints are, the upstairs gets really hot! The house has AC but it either doesn’t work in the bedrooms upstairs or something is wrong with it. There are window fans up there so apparently it’s a known issue. The house sits directly on the main road, so there is a lot of truck traffic/noise. The listing led me to...
