While overall our time spent together on our family vacation was nice, we were very disappointed with several things at the house, including the following:• Upon arrival we found roaches everywhere, and by everywhere I mean every room, as well as ants on the kitchen floor around the kitchen table. The roaches were dead in each room, found alive crawling throughout the house, and even a surprise roach found inside the Keurig. After reporting this to the management office, a pest control person arrived promptly and sprayed everywhere. Unfortunately, the following day the roaches were back crawling all over the house.• The wood chairs in the kitchen and the desk area in the master suite were broken and “repairs” had been attempted with duct tape; however, the chairs were still unstable. • The washer drum was extremely loud to the point that you could hear it throughout the entire house and could not talk over it while downstairs near the laundry room. This is indicative of the main tub bearings being worn and in need of repair or even in need of washer replacement. The dryer did not totally dry any clothing or towel loads.• The child gate on the main stairway was broken even though it was shown in pictures to be intact.• The grill burners on the outdoor grill were broken and the repair person indicated they were not repairable and that the grill needed to be replaced.• The lock on one set of patio doors from the kitchen to patio deck were not able to be locked.• There were sharp edges that cut fingers on the replacement kitchen cabinet knobs located below and to the left of the kitchen sink.• The kitchen trash can that was in the trash drawer was too small. The trash drawer was designed to hold a plastic container two to three times the size of the one provided.• There were not enough bath towels.
