“This was a delightful and lovely cabin in the mountains. It was easy to get to, although rather far away from facilities, such as grocery stores, petrol stations, and the like. The cabin was very clean and spacious, and was in a charming setting. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable.”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

“The shepherds hut is in a beautiful rural position with excellent views. It is extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. You have a lovely terrace, a garden area with a picnic table and fire pit. With peacocks and alpacas to watch it really is a fantastic rural experience. The owners Carol and Don are really helpful and friendly. We would certainly return and recommend.”

“We had a lovely comfortable stay for a week in the cabin. Nice and warm with plenty of heaters to use if you needed to. The decking area was nice and enclosed so our little dog was secure,there’s also an off lead dog walking area on the site which is very pretty with a little brook running through it. The cabin is also quite private with hedges around it, the views are spectacular.”

“Lovely break for 3 days. Lodge was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. Host was present for check in and was available for any queries. The only minor complaint would be that the bunk bed was not too comfortable but other than that a really enjoyable stay.”

“We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! A few improvements in regards to communication, location details and a welcome book with instructions for the fire, local information etc would really raise this to the PERFECT destination! Can imagine this place would be amazing in the summer with the Alpacas and Peacocks walking around the paddock in...

“Lovely spot to stop at in NWales, ideal for a days out. 1 hr to Kings Docks in L’pool, 1+hr to Trearddur Bay and Harlech Beach. Perfect location as very close to dual carriageway and easy to jump on main road - within 4-5 minutes. Consequently, murmur of road noise always present. If you are out and about, and like to drive to places, I 100% recommend. Clean and tidy, helpful host, overall nice stay.”

The accommodation itself is of good standard with a good kitchen and utility, and a spacious conservatory to enjoy the views over breakfast or dinner, (only negatives are; the 2nd shower room is very small, no King beds, bbq is old and small).
