“The property itself was beautiful- Hunter was a great host. AC had a slight leak in the master but he was quick to communicate with me when I found it. The kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, game room and every other feature we could use we did (except the boat). My hubby and I will be back on our own for a weekend hideaway! I may have forgotten one of our life jackets there ”

“As advertised, owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. House was well equipped (don’t have to run out and buy toilet paper/ paper towels / etc) and there isn’t a huge list of rules and house keeping like there is in some places. Only complaint is that the only way to access the two showers is through a bedroom but we made it work fine. ”

The house has everything you could need, is exceptionally clean and well equipped for a family vacation. Check in was easy and everything was ready for us when we arrived, the kitchen and the rest of the house is fully equipped even if you forget something, you don’t have to worry as it will most likely be available for you to use from plates to coffee, it’s all there. ”

“Check in was a breeze. The weather has been hot and it was so nice that the air had been in so we came into a very comfortable temp. The property was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The bird life was very entertaining and beautiful outdoors. The fire pit area was lovely. There was a paddle boat, kayak and canoe available for use. Life jackets were readily available. “This was the perfect place for our family of 9! It's better than the pictures! The yard and lake are great for days of fun, plus we drove to the iron mine one day and North Shore Drive another. The cabin was comfortable and had all that was needing for a relaxing stay. We loved the loons and the friendly squirrel. We even saw a bear near Makinen!”
