Tucked away on over an acre of sloping land that reaches down to a peaceful lakefront, the 1,400 sq ft home is thoughtfully designed to embrace the natural beauty that surrounds it. Large windows invite in light and panoramic views from both floors, while cozy interiors make it easy to unwind after a day spent exploring the island.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with two bedrooms plus an additional sleeping area. The main floor features a spacious king bedroom with plush bedding and serene forest views, plus a second bedroom with a full-size bed. Upstairs, a bright lofted area with a queen bed and ocean views offers the perfect place to start and end your day in comfort.

Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck while watching passing ships, or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset with the mountains as your backdrop, this home invites you to slow down and savor every moment.

Inside, you’ll find a welcoming living area filled with natural light, perfect for reading, playing board games, or putting together a puzzle. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home, while the BBQ grill outside is perfect for summertime dinners under the stars.

For those mixing work with leisure, the home offers two standing desks and high-speed internet—so you can stay productive while enjoying the sounds of nature and the views just outside your window.

Just a short walk away is the community-owned beach, where you can enjoy tidepooling, beachcombing, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty of the shoreline. Whether you're looking to kayak, hike, or simply recharge, Whidbey Island offers a peaceful pace of life that's hard to resist.

This is a home for travelers who value simplicity, comfort, and connection—to nature, to each other, and to the moment. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or an extended work-from-home retreat, this cozy ocean-view cottage is ready to welcome you.

Need to know:

• The house is close to the Naval Outlying Field (NOLF) and Navy jets will fly at a low altitude sometimes on Monday–Friday. They usually do not fly on the weekends. We provide some earmuffs and earplugs, but please check the jet practice schedule before booking if you are sensitive to noise. Some guests enjoy watching the jets fly overhead.

• Storms in the winter are out of our control, and you may experience power outages during that time.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
