“We loved our time here. The house was clean, cosy and homely, had everything we needed and more and the master bed was soooo comfortable! We had a minor issue whilst staying but Patsy the owner was very friendly and communicated well and acted quickly to resolve, she was a pleasure to deal with. “Photos truly don’t do this place justice. We absolutely loved our stay and are seriously considering coming back. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and everything felt either brand new or in excellent condition. The hosts were available if needed, but everything was so well organised we never had to reach out. The views were stunning, and the location was perfect—close to shops and local attractions. Highly recommended!”

“We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.”

It couldn't have been a better location for all of us, things to do for all ages.The property is located across the Clyde from Grenock, check your options for the ferries, it pays to purchase tickets before you board.Also the property is now painted grey not white as in the photos, it threw us a little when looking for the property. Nothing though to stop us completely enjoying our stay at the property. ”
