I stayed at the Randolph Hotel for about a week while in town for work. âThis is a stunning historic property thatâs been beautifully renovated. Love the rooftop pool and the gorgeous dining room/common area/co-working space. I also enjoyed the little perks â the daily dining credit, the free tickets to the Grammy Museum. This is definitely one of the finer options in DTLA â stylish and elegant without being so trendy that it attracts the influencer hoards. This was a very quiet, peaceful, perfect stay!â

Delayed checkin, extremely low bed, poor sound isolation and a noisy rooftop bar, my room was never cleaned in 4 days, got stuck in the elevator and the second elevator was broken "
"Really nice hotel but canât really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents. The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and donât look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building wonât give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought thatâs just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel canât do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
