Pittoreska skogshemmet

Bara några minuter norr om Crescent City, inbäddat på 5 frodiga tunnland omgiven av en pittoresk skog av höga rödträd som visar upp en vacker helt ny, rökfri, 2450 kvm, 4 sovrum, 3 1/2 bad hem, med en 3 bil garage med elektroniska dörröppnare. Det fullt utrustade köket som vetter mot matsalen och det stora rummet har kakelgolv, bänkskivor i granit, en dubbelugn (även konvektionsalternativ), gasbricka och kylskåp sida vid sida. Den dubbla handfat i rostfritt stål och diskmaskin finns på en separat ö som erbjuder sittplatser för underhållning. Tvättstugan inkluderar ett skafferi tillsammans med extra diskutrymme och ligger direkt utanför köket där en tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns tillgängliga för användning.

Det stora rummet har två kärlekssäten (ett med dubbelsängar) och en soffa (som också är en utklappad queen size-säng) att koppla av på medan du tittar på TV, kopplar av med en bok eller njuter av komforten och värmen från den fristående vedspisen . De franska dörrarna vetter mot en fin täckt uteplats där gästerna kan njuta av den lugna skönheten och omgivningen.

De fyra sovrummen är matta för värme och erbjuder gott om förvaring. Mellan två av sovrummen ligger ett Jack & Jill-badrum med egen separat handfat och medicinskåp. Dusch är också åtskild från både toalett och handfat. Befälhavaren svit har en TV och en skjutbar glasdörr som öppnar på baksidan uteplats. Ingår i masterbadet är ett stort glassluten dusch m / säte, ett badkar och två separata handfat. Livsmedelsaffärer: Fort Dick Market 1/4 mil, Safeway och Walmart superbutik i stan (10 miles), och Fred Meyers i Brooking (20 mil norr om 101).

10 sovplatser Prisavgiften är för de första 8 personerna. Tilläggsavgift på 10 $ lågsäsong. 12 sommar, per person och natt. (Kommer att rymma 12 personer, med king size-madrass i garaget.)

Description of place was spot on. Something things could have been cleaner, fans were dusty and some other things. There was no kindle for fires. Overall the home was great though. Supplied lots of kitchen supplies and the beds were all cleans and neatly made. Very spacious and handicap accessible. Hot water supply was amazing.

The home is very beautiful in a very nice setting even though you’re in town it seems as though you’re out in the country, however, it doesn’t appear as though the housekeeper really does a good job at all, we had to go through and kill the spiders that were infesting with the rooms before we could utilize them. You would think that somebody would’ve made a walk-through before you had somebody book the property for a week long visit. The garage door openers were gone when we arrived. We tried to contact the property management and let them know that we couldn’t find them and we never heard back from them at all. It even looks as though the neighbors have rigged up a hose to the pump house and are stealing water from this property. The overall layout of the house is phenomenal. The master bedroom is great except for the mattress and box springs tub, and shower are fantastic and even though I understand, it’s in a wooded lot the exterior of the property is loaded with spiders and webs, and does not look like anybody has maintained it in quite a while. The back double door has issues in security as even when you try to shut the door continues to pop open so you have to use the deadbolt all the time and even then it’s flimsy. One of the things that we didn’t understand was that the prison was just located around the bend until we heard a loudspeakers going off and saw the guard towers the next day.

We loved the layout of the house with the master suite at one end, the bunkbed room right off the kitchen and then the other two bedrooms at the other end of house; sharing a bath – esp. the two sinks.The swing set and fire pit were marvelous….we spent our evenings outsideThere was enough sitting for everyone at dinner time and then to watch for the Oregon football game.It was excellent.

Our stay in Crescent City was comfortable and relaxing, and not too far from the grocery store, restaurants and gas stations, so that made it very convenient to see many of the places around town that we wanted to visit. The house was clean inside, with a well stocked kitchen, lots of bath towels and paper products. The exterior was inviting, and we managed to enjoy a very nice evening by the fire pit. The back yard porch area needed some dusting/cleaning, and was a bit unkept with old trash items on the table, but not terribly bad, considering the house is located out in the woods. We arrived at night, so it was difficult to find the house in the darkness, since no lights were left on for us. As a suggestion, perhaps the front porch light could be left on in the future when other guests are expected. That would make things easier to find and get into the house. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality and positive experience.

We had a great family get away, with grandparents down to great-grandkids! The house was spacious enough for all of us, clean, greatly stocked. Tucked away off the main road, and plenty of space for kids to be loud & run around. We loved how close it was to Kellogg Beach, & it wasn't super crowded. Mark was great about answering questions before the trip. We will definitely come back to this house for beach trips!

Nice vacation home

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is located close to Redwoods National Park, and the beach which was great for our large group. The home was clean and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook at home and a large living room for everyone to enjoy time together. We would definitely stay there if we were in the area in the future. The large covered patio was a delightful place to enjoy some coffee while enjoying the redwoods and birds. It truly was great. A couple of small things: We did not understand that the garage space was a literal garage with mattresses stacked along a wall that you could make up yourself to sleep on, but that was ok. Also, there was no shampoo, conditioner or paper towels, easily fixed by the near by Walmart. Again no big deal, but just wanted to save the next group an extra store trip.

Private and spacious

We stayedhere for a our family reunion. There was ample accommodations and location afforded privacy and backroad access to favorite beach, river, and hiking adventures. Plenty of kitchen space, nice gas stove and all appliances, horse shores, fire pit, and barbecue to enhance our family meals. Beds comfortable though the king could use a memory foam topper, a bit hard. Would stay again.

The house is right off the highway for easy access to the redwood forests and the beaches. We found fantastic trails in the state park less than 30 minutes away, and a great beach for exploring tide pools only 10 minutes from the house. Our family of 8 (3 generations) was very comfortable here. The rooms are all large and nicely equipped. The master suite is especially spacious with a huge bathroom. The kitchen has a gas range and all the appliances and dishes you need to make a family meal. We loved making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit. We really loved living in the quiet forest while still being only a few miles from supermarkets and WalMart.

Amazing stay

We stayed at the house with kids raging from 20 months - 8 years old. The house was perfect. The outdoor swing set was a huge hit and and the space is warm and welcoming. Plenty to do for everyone and they had kid plates, silver ware, cups and a crib & pack & play. Also, lots of tames and books. The owners were very kind and sent us a list of fun things to check out while visiting. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Home!

We really felt at home here! The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We were able to bring our two small dogs as well. Mark was a great host and provided a list of information about the area- where to find cheaper gas and where to spot some Elk! Thank you, Mark for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be coming back.
