“This was in the middle of the Redwood National and State Forest. We explored so many awesome trails. It is remote, so if you are looking for finer food and beer, you have to be willing to drive 20 minutes north to Crescent City. This was a perfect base camp for us.”

“You cannot beat this beachside house! The path to pebble beach was like three houses down the road, we walked down with our kids every day. It was awesome! The neighborhood is so cute, and close to grocery stores. The game room/garage was super fun, and I loved that there was accessible laundry after going to the beach! The only notes I have is that the house smelled a little musty, and the internet password was a little hard to figure out because it didn't exactly match the one written down....

“This was a great place to stay for our girls trip! Bill and Linda were excellent hosts! They have wonderful life stories to share and we’re so welcoming to us. The house was perfect with an open bedroom upstairs and a smaller bed next to the laundry room downstairs. We spent most of our time exploring the area, but when we were at the house we enjoyed access to the beach just a few steps away. We highly recommend the benches just across the road, especially Eleanor’s! ”

“We had an excellent time in this home. The location is central to lots of activities. It's within walking distance to the overlook and a path to Pebble Beach. The neighborhood is extremely safe and the house itself is very quiet. There is an audible foghorn, but it doesn't sound like a foghorn- it plays a tone every ten seconds or so. You will live. “If you like to be off the grid, this is a great place to stay. We do this once a year and completely unplug from phones, computers, etc. This place was perfect for exactly that. It's remote and there's nothing better than the sound of a river. We had a total of 4 adults, 3 kids, and our 2 labs. Everyone had a wonderful time. It's a little bit of a walk to the river but once there, it's secluded and water is crystal clear. Thank you, Jim, for allowing us to stay at your place. ”
