“I don't understand why the previous reviews were so negative. I've stayed in various hotels all over the world and this one was perfectly fine. Room was clean, bed comfy, bathroom clean and power shower worked great. Manager didn't speak great English, but once we got chatting, he turned out to be a really nice guy. ”

“Great reception when we arrived, shown to our room, explained about parking and if we wanted meals/drinks in the restaurant, what times and cost was. Room was lovely and large, clean and tidy, modern. Bed comfy, lovely tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities. Bathroom was nice and clean. Towels were soft. It was quiet of a night time, room was warm and dark so perfect to help sleep. ”

“We loved our stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. We had a balcony room with a lovely view to the harbour. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only small issue we had was that the taps were a hard to turn on and off in our room. Great selection for breakfast and dinner.”

“We spent 3 nights at this apartment in Newbiggin. The apartment itself is lovely, clean, and well-equipped; a real home away from home. Please note that the location of the accommodation is within a residential estate and is a terraced block. “Great location and views to die for. Parking a bit tight but lovely neighbours who were happy to move cars around. We used the property as a base to attend a wedding and extended our stay to visit Alnwick and Holy Island - Newbiggin is a little tired and rundown and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area.”

“Great communication before arrival. Upon arriving I was met by a lady who showed me to the apartment. I was very happy with the apartment. Everything I needed for a few days. Parking was no problem as the apartments have their own car park. It us a short drive from shops but you don't have to go miles. Would certainly book again if I'm in the area.”

“This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.”

“The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels.”

“A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”
