Please note that this lodge is in Marloth Park! Gate entrance to the park is recommended via the Tenbosch Road from the N4.
Only Olifant Drive was a paved road leading to the lodge. All others was unpaved. Our Vw Polo was almost unable to reach the lodge since many roads had been damaged by heavy rainfall recently. I would have liked having a 4x4 vehicle at that time.

âGreat location on the river and only about 12 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. It's not a luxurious property but we had the proper expectations. We enjoyed the amenities that we needed and the location on the river was tranquil and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.â

The only minus as I see it is a little greed and they are happy to charge a little extra for everything. E. g. I paid transfer for two (since I was traveling alone) even though the driver was staying at the airport to pick another company up an hour later.
Also, internet is really expensive and only works every other day, but I guess that's what to expect out in the bush.â
