“The property was nice and secluded. We brought our dogs and they had plenty of room to play around. The house was so corky and cute! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night and star gazing! There was zero light pollution and I even saw a shooting star! We had a blast and definitely recommend this place”

“A wonderful place to stay! Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck. Grateful I was able to stay here, and highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Boone!”

“We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. After working on the fireplace for a good hour, it was determined the controller needed replacing. Would certainly return for...

“We were only able to stay two nights and it wasn't long enough. The host lived close by, but respected our privacy. The cabin was comfortable and we did need anything. The sound of the running water echoed throughout the little valley.”

Our family of 5 had plenty of room to sleep, spread out and relax, and to play and chill in the downstairs playroom equipped with table top games, darts, and foosball as well as TV. It was warm and cozy with the fireplace and central heat. Lovely decor and amenities!”

“I rented the cabin by myself for 4 nights because I was running the New River Marathon. It is a beautiful area and the cabin was perfect and way more than enough for 1 person. The area is rugged…my Jeep definitely got workout. Only complaints stem from the hot tub…got a bad skin infection from it and had to take antibiotics for 10 days to clear it up. The hot tub is also surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes which is fine as long as you are ok with bee’s…they are pretty busy in that area....
