“We had a great stay here for a few days visiting Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. The location will be much more convenient to the park when the ferry reopens, but we still found it easy to get around and felt safe in the community. “The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. There is a difference however between old and old/dirty/unkept. The floor was covered in dead bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. There was someone’s old food in n the mini fridge. Also, we are...

“It was very peaceful and nices view. Rooms where small but very comfortable. Cleaned had all the utensils. And very much pet friendly. If you want a places to relax or just quietness with a lake view and go fishing this is the place. Ill be keeping this on my list to stay. Absolutely loved it there. Me and my family.”

“The cottage and host were just lovely! Although not the fault of the host, it was a little noisy at night from the traffic. The breakfast was delicious and more than I could eat! Had a very nice stay, loved the cottage but more electrical receptacles are needed, but it's a very old building, well maintained. ”
