Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

“On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.”

We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us.”

She was extremely timely and accommodating in her replies - every time! The cottage’s setting is like something out of a movie. This property was immaculate, comfortable and cozy, amazing views from every window, well supplied kitchen, really nice front and side decks, minutes from the water and a wonderful old church...

“Difficult to find once on the road but a quick call to the owners sorted that. My only criticism is the cottage is dark, but if there was good lighting in the lounge that would help. I had to move. A bedside light into the lounge as it was a depressing light, whoops I forgot to put it back. Sorry. Having said that I would happily stay here again, it was almost perfect.”

“Stugorna var KANONFRÄSCHA, snygga och mysiga. Ingenting att klaga på på detta ställe förutom två saker; man är väldigt beroende av bil för att ta sig dit/ta sig därifrån och göra saker, samt att de fanns ingen spis eller ugn nånstans (inte ens i något servicehus). Grill och mikro fanns men inga andra möjligheter till att laga mat. De säljer kol från The main house men det kostade £5 för en engångssäck - tror de blir billigare att köpa själv i affären... ”
